The Challenge

Lumoral UK had recently launched its Instagram account and was entering the UK market with very limited awareness and a small initial follower base. The challenge was to quickly build visibility, attract a relevant audience, and generate engagement. All without relying on paid advertising.

The campaign needed to create early momentum, introduce Lumoral’s clinical credibility, and establish a foundation for future educational and expert-led content.

Spark’s Approach

Spark designed a month-long Instagram giveaway campaign built to maximise organic reach and engagement for an early-stage account.

From there, we:

  • Selected a high-value Lumoral Starter Kit as the prize to attract a relevant, health-conscious audience

  • Designed simple, low-friction engagement mechanics (follow, like, tag, optional story share)

  • Framed the giveaway around Lumoral’s clinical credibility and key oral health benefits

  • Extended the campaign over a full month to allow organic momentum to build steadily

The approach balanced accessibility with premium positioning, ensuring the campaign attracted quality followers rather than short-term engagement only.

Results

  • +245 followers in one month (from ~30 to 275)

  • 38,261 accounts reached (+749% vs previous month)

  • 51,216 profile views (+770%)

  • 7.82% engagement rate

  • Giveaway post became the top-performing post of the month
